Library Resources
All Drake State students have a Canvas module titled “Library Resources” within the “Student Resource Center” Course. This course contains information concerning the library’s resources and services. To access the class:
Step 1: Log in to your MyDRAKE Experience account.
Step 2: Click on the Canvas App
Step 3: Select the “Students Resources” course on your student Canvas dashboard.
Step 4: Select Modules.
Step 5: Click on Library Resources. Additionally, library services may be accessed through the library website at library.drakestate.edu.
Distance education students may also come to campus to access library resources in the S.C. O’Neal Library and Technology Center. Student Services
Students can find information on student services either through the main Drake State website or they can access a course called “Student Resource Center” when logging into Canvas. This course includes additional information on the following: Digital Literacy, Canvas Orientation, HonorLock, Counseling Services, Skills Support, Campus Safety, Career Services, Scholarships, and Library Services.

Disability Services/Accessibility
Drake State is committed to providing reasonable accommodations in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and all other applicable regulations. Instructions for requesting accommodations, along with the college ADA Grievance Procedure, are published in the Student Handbook section of the Catalog/Student Handbook, both in print and online. Records of accommodation for student disabilities are maintained in applicable individual student files, the content of which is confidential. These files are maintained in the Disability Support Services Office, located within the area of the Office of Admissions and Student Services (library, 1st floor). Tutoring
The College offers free tutoring (Fall, Spring, and Summer) to all students. The tutoring program is funded through Title III grants. The tutoring services provided include assistance in all general education courses and CTE programs. Referrals to tutorial services take place through the Student Success Specialist, Academic Completion Specialists, or faculty members.
Academic Dishonesty
Plagiarism is the intentional copying of ideas or words of another and using those ideas and words as your own. Using AI (Artificial Intelligence) responses as your own work is also plagiarism because those ideas or words are not your own. Instructors in your courses use anti-plagiarism programs to check student work. When outside sources are paraphrased or incorporated verbatim, they must be acknowledged. Students who submit assignments that are partially or wholly plagiarized will not receive credit for those assignments and may be subject to failure in the course.
